[US] is live chat for every physical place. Check in, and you're in the room — with real people, in real time, at real places. These guidelines exist so the room stays worth being in.
The short version: be a person worth meeting. Don't threaten anyone, don't harass anyone, don't sell anything illegal, don't pretend to be someone you're not, and never use someone's location to harm them.
Our Terms require every account holder to be at least 17 — and if you're under 18, your parent or guardian must consent to your use of [US]. If we become aware of an account held by someone under 17, we will remove it.
No threats, no incitement, no glorification of violence. This includes threatening people at a place, threatening a place itself, and imagery of weapons presented with threatening intent. Credible threats are removed, the account is banned, and we may refer the matter to law enforcement.
Don't target people. No bullying, pile-ons, unwanted sexual attention, or repeated unwanted contact after someone has asked you to stop.
Because [US] is built on real places, one rule is absolute: never use someone's check-in or location to stalk, follow, intimidate, or harass them — and never post someone else's location, home, or identifying details without their consent. Violations of this rule result in an immediate ban.
No attacks on people for who they are — race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or immigration status. Slurs, dehumanizing language, and hateful symbols directed at people are removed.
No nudity, pornography, or sexually explicit content. We have zero tolerance for any content that sexualizes minors: it is removed immediately, the account is permanently banned, and it is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement as required by law.
No spam, pyramid schemes, phishing, fake giveaways, deceptive links, or mass unsolicited promotion. Businesses have real tools on [US] — use those, not spray-posting.
You may not use [US] to buy, sell, trade, or solicit illegal drugs, prescription medications, weapons, ammunition, stolen goods, counterfeit items, or anything else that is illegal to sell where you are. Posting offers, prices, menus, or "DM me" solicitations for regulated goods — in posts, chat, comments, or DMs — results in removal and a ban, and may be referred to law enforcement.
Content that glorifies or instructs illegal drug use may be removed. To be clear about ordinary life: a drink at the bar, a night out, legal nightlife — that's what [US] is for. Depicting a legal good is fine; dealing is not.
Don't post fabricated content designed to deceive or endanger — fake emergencies at a place, invented events, false claims about a business, or manipulated media presented as real.
Be yourself. No impersonating people, places, or businesses; no fake or automated accounts. Parody must be unmistakably parody.
[US] brings people together in physical places. Meet in public, trust your instincts, and remember that everything in our Terms about real-world interactions applies: you are responsible for your own safety and conduct. If someone makes you feel unsafe — in the app or at a place — report them and, if there's any immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
Every post, reply, comment, event, voice room, and profile on [US] can be reported in two taps — choose a category, add detail if you want, and a moderator reviews every single report. Content you report is hidden from your own feed immediately.
We may remove content, hide content pending review, warn, suspend, or permanently ban accounts at our discretion, with or without notice, for violations of these guidelines or our Terms. Enforcement decisions are logged. If you believe we got one wrong, email hello@aixum.io from the address on your account and we'll take a second look.
We may update these guidelines as [US] grows. Material changes will be communicated via the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
