By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
You are solely responsible for your account, your content, and your interactions with others, both online and in real-world environments. We do not perform background checks, do not verify identities beyond standard authentication, and make no representations about other users.
You retain ownership of your content. By posting content on the Service, you grant US Social Network a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with the Service.
You agree not to post unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, or infringing content.
The Service includes location-based functionality that may use location data to enable place-based and real-time features. By using these features, you acknowledge that:
Location sharing occurs only when you actively use location-based features. You can control or disable location access through your device settings, though some features may stop working.
You accept all risks associated with sharing location-related information and interacting with others in real-world environments.
US Social Network enables real-world connections. All interactions, meetups, and engagements are at your own risk. The Service is not responsible for user behavior or outcomes.
The Service includes a virtual currency called "[US] Coins" used inside the application. Coins are licensed to you for use within the Service only and are not a stored-value account, prepaid access, securities, money, or currency.
Coins exist solely to enable in-app gifting between users and to interact with offers, events, and other in-app features at the Service's discretion. The Service may at any time modify Coin pricing, the Coin catalog, redemption mechanics, or discontinue Coins entirely without liability beyond a refund of any unused Coin balance where required by law.
Business owners may purchase recurring subscriptions to unlock features for a claimed place (such as posting offers and events past free tier limits). By starting a subscription, you authorize US Social Network and its payment processor (Stripe) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the price displayed at checkout, including applicable taxes.
Venues may post offers to be redeemed by users in person at the venue. Offers are issued by the venue, not by US Social Network. The venue is solely responsible for honoring offers, for the goods or services associated with them, and for any disputes arising from redemption. The Service merely facilitates the listing and redemption flow.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including hacking, scraping, impersonation, interfering with services, or attempting unauthorized access. You agree not to use the Service to harass, threaten, or defraud other users or venues.
We reserve the right to remove content, restrict features, suspend, or terminate accounts at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. Users may report content or accounts. We may review and take action based on such reports. We may use automated and manual systems to detect, review, and remove content that violates these Terms or applicable laws.
If your account is terminated for violation of these Terms, you forfeit any unused Coin balance and any remaining time on a paid subscription.
We respect the intellectual property of others and expect users to do the same. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) to our designated agent at hello@aixum.io with the subject line "DMCA Notice".
Your notice must include:
We will respond to valid notices and may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless US Social Network, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, your interactions with other users or venues, or your violation of these Terms.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, US Social Network shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill. Our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The U.N. Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
Please read this section carefully — it limits how disputes between you and US Social Network can be resolved.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service ("Dispute") shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules then in effect, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for matters relating to intellectual property, unauthorized access, or breach of confidentiality.
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
