Account & sign-in
- I can't get my WhatsApp login code. Make sure the phone number you entered is the one connected to WhatsApp on the device you're trying to sign in on. If the message doesn't arrive within a couple of minutes, tap "Resend code." If you still don't see it, email us — most delivery problems clear up after we re-issue the link from our side.
- Email confirmation link isn't working. Each link is single-use and expires after 24 hours. If you've already tapped a link, request a fresh one from You → My Info → Email.
- I want to change my phone number. Update it in You → My Info → Phone. You'll need to verify the new number with a code sent over WhatsApp.
Subscriptions & coins
- How do I cancel my Premium subscription? Open You → Manage Premium → Billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you won't be charged again, and you keep Premium until the period ends.
- How do I cancel a place subscription? From the place's profile, tap Manage plan → Cancel. Same rule: you keep the tier benefits until the end of the current period, then they stop.
- Refund policy. [US] Coins and subscription fees are non-refundable for periods that have already started, except where required by applicable law. Cancelling stops future charges but does not refund previously paid amounts. See our Terms of Service for the full details.
- I was charged twice. Email us with the date of the duplicate charge and the email address on your account, and we'll investigate.
Safety, blocking, and reporting
- Block a user. Tap the three-dot menu on their profile and choose Block. You'll stop seeing each other's posts, stories, and presence.
- Report a post, perk, or event. Tap the three-dot menu on the content and choose Report. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team.
- Report a safety emergency. [US] is not a substitute for emergency services. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services (911 in the US).
Delete your account
See our Delete account page for the process. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.
